About Naphora Renal Care

Safe. Calm. Clear dialysis.

We are a new renal centre built for Zimbabwe. Our goal is simple: safer treatments, clear prices, and kind care. We keep information plain and decisions shared. Naphora Renal Care is a nephrologist-led dialysis service. We run modern machines in calm, clean rooms with strong infection control. Our team includes senior dialysis nurses, a dietitian, and on-site biomedical support.

Simple, person-led care…

Our promise

We treat every person with dignity and time. We listen first and explain choices in plain English. We agree the plan together and write it in words you understand. You follow a clear path from assessment to first session and then a review. We tailor the prescription, watch your results, and adjust as life changes. We call after your first session to check you are okay and answer questions. Family or a friend are welcome if that helps you feel calm.

Protect your lifeline, ease your stay…

Access and comfort

We check your fistula or graft at every visit and act early on any change. We teach simple daily habits you can do at home: feel the thrill, keep the site clean and dry, and report redness or pain fast. We avoid blood pressure cuffs, blood draws, and tight clothing on the access arm, and we rotate needle sites to protect the vessel. If bleeding lasts longer than usual or the thrill feels different, we escalate quickly for review. Rooms are quiet with comfortable chairs, warm blankets, and call bells within reach.

Measure, learn, improve…

Governance and quality

We track clear measures: adequacy (Kt/V and URR), access uptime, infection rates, missed-session recovery, and patient feedback. Results are reviewed in weekly clinical huddles and a monthly quality meeting, with actions, owners, and due dates. We run audits on hand hygiene, line care, water logs, and documentation, then close any gaps fast. Incidents and near-misses are analysed the same day, with learning shared in a short “You Said / We Did” note to staff. A small patient forum meets each quarter to test ideas and check what feels better in real life. We publish simple “Care Stats” on the blog so progress stays visible. Data is stored securely and used only for care and improvement. When standards are not met, we agree a recovery plan and report on it openly.

Simple guides, real support…

Education and community

Our Education Hub sits within our blog, so everything is easy to find and share. You get short, plain-English guides on fluids, salt, phosphorus, access care, travel, and fasting. Each guide uses local foods and practical tips you can use today. You can read posts on your phone or download one-page sheets. We also share global health headlines with clear credits and links so you can dig deeper. Once a month we run a brief group talk with Q&A; online or in the clinic. We partner with local experts for guest sessions on exercise, mental health, and budgeting for healthy meals. If you prefer another language or large print, we provide that too—and you can suggest the next topic.

Easy to reach, easy to book…
